Therapy Intensives
Extended, focused therapeutic time for individuals and couples who want to give a specific goal their full attention.
Therapy, with room to breathe
An intensive is a longer therapy session, typically two to four hours, devoted to one area of your life. Instead of gathering momentum and then stopping, we stay with the work until it reaches a natural resting place.
Weekly therapy
- 50-minute sessions spaced a week or more apart
- Progress unfolds gradually over months
- Each session includes time to reconnect and catch up
Therapy intensives
- Two to four hours of uninterrupted therapeutic time
- Deep, sustained focus on one goal or concern
- Momentum stays with you instead of restarting each week
Why choose an intensive
Time to go deeper
Without the clock cutting things short, there is space to move all the way through difficult material and land somewhere settled.
Concentrated momentum
Extended time can help you move through a specific concern more quickly than weekly sessions allow.
Room for both partners
Couples get enough time for each person to be heard fully and to practice new ways of communicating in the room.
An intensive may be a good fit if...
- You feel stuck on one specific issue and want focused time with it
- Your schedule makes consistent weekly sessions difficult
- You are preparing for or moving through a major life transition
- You and your partner want dedicated time to reconnect
- You are already in weekly therapy and want to supplement it with deeper work
- You want a meaningful starting point before beginning ongoing therapy
Intensives are available for both individuals and couples.
Individual intensives
Extended one-on-one time to work through trauma, anxiety, grief, life transitions, or a goal that keeps getting deferred.
Couples intensives
A focused block of time for partners to work on communication, repair after a rupture, or a decision you keep circling back to.
Curious whether an intensive is right for you? Let's talk it through together, with no pressure either way.
